I love this comment

"I can remember removing one of these huge trees which was growing in between 3 houses, one of which was my sister's place in London. There was no way to drop the tree in a traditional way so I spent an entire week climbing up the 5 upward branches of this monster which was 160ft tall then roping myself off & cutting it into logs with a chainsaw I carried to London on the train from Cardiff which I then lowered with a rope & pulley. While working on it, my brother in law who was helping on the ground had a constant stream of homeowners offering me thousands of pounds to do the same for them because they also had a problem tree.
