Taken from me today, in the most horrific fashion involved in a road traffic accident, an image that will haunt me forever.

Toby you gave everything ever asked of you, your love was unconditional and the hole left in my heart will never be filled.

I hope in your short two years on this earth I gave to you the life of adventure and fulfillment you deserved, you were my shadow and would follow me to the ends of the earth. you were there for me through hard times and have given me the sweetest memories to last a lifetime. You spread joy everywhere you went and to everyone you would meet.

I'm sorry I let you down mate, I'm sorry i let you feel pain and i'm sorry for all the times that I didn't take you with me or didn't give you that bit of fuss you came after, just because I was too tired or preoccupied with something else.

Thank you for the Memories.

A lovely looking dog, from a current doting owner of 4 No dogs.

However?

What were the circumstances of the accident?

A third party in a vehicle was, I can only presume, involved?

how did they fare?

what is their "take" on the situation?

Regards,

Marcus

My favourite dog was kept chained up, as a guard dog presumably, or perhaps because he wandered.

Chain actually "growing" into his neck when brought into the pound.

After 6 or 8 weeks I took him because no-one wanted a "Rotty" (he is actually 90% black lab)

He lives in the house with us, often sharing our bed for portions of the night.

Despite being an absolutly harmless "dote" he wanders away up the Moss for hours at a time.(see first line above)

I do not be entirely happy about this, but knowing he is absolutly impeccably behaved with sheep, cattle and other dogs, tolerate it.

He always comes back.

He could however be shot by a sheep farmer, for simply crossing a field with sheep at the other end.

He is also electronically tagged and therefore absolutly traceable.
