Sadly true by the looks of things - probably someone in an office has done a cost analysis on changing all the saws in all the dealerships and decided its cheaper to wait till they break!

I have a couple of 150t's.  One is 4 years old and still going strong.  I bought another when I moved over to Norway to run on aspen.
 
built quality is fine, I do high clip it though and not dangle it like a conker.
Same here Rich....makes me cringe when I see a saw clattering of the Tree.

Agreed. I don’t understand why guys think it’s cool to abuse the gear that earns them a living, even if the boss is paying.
In fact, especially if the boss is paying!

The tool attachment is a design fault that has been identified and ignored by Stihl for years....if anyone gets hit by a falling saw SUE STIHL!!!
