Shouldn't the zz bit be 180 degrees the other way Tom, so the finger thing is at the back

The bottom link doesn't look quite right either have you missed putting the rope through it?

cool idea, does look like bottom link is out or wont go in? defo would solve the pulley issue. great thinking and work

Tie these two things together and I think you may have an answer. :001_huh:

Although oriented the same in Paul's version it's located differently on the line by the looks if things so a link on the rope is gained.

You guys aren't going for the refund then?!!

Brilliant idea Tom, and Paul....

This works well. Just need to put a better spindle bolt in.

I like that, a lot.

RE the bottom link, it needs to be that way round, or it wouldn't line up with the rope very well, the bottom link is like that on the ZZ too, its just shielded by the body so you don't see as much of it..

Are these just academic exercises or do you propose using them bearing in mind that they won't get lolered?

Isn't it a bit expensive sacrificing the refund to cobble these together.

BTW - instead of the metal ziggyzag bit have you tried it with a bit of friction rope.:001_smile:
