what can i do wi these ,need to get it filled asasp,but dont want to lose the the birds ,can they be moved , thers 4 eggs @ the mo ,how many do they lay, can they be inkubated & returned to the wild ,

can do two things find a broody hen sitting and put them under her and will hatch or put them in a incubator and do the same as chickens when they have there feathers in early september can be released back into the wild. but do not be surprised if they do not come back for there feed

Do you have a game farm any where near ? You need to put them in an incubator and they need to be turned regularly . When the chicks hatch you will need to put them in a rearing hut with a heat lamp . If its just the 4 you wont need to " bit " them as they won't feather peck due to over crowding . you will need to feed them chick crumbs to start with then go up through the pellet sizes as they grow . You my need whatever medicines that are allowed . Something for gape worm and something for hexamita ( used to be "emtryl" but not allowed now ) Could be alot of work or take the eggs to a game farm .

Is it not illegal to to disturb nesting birds or damage their nests??

Eggs collected before the pheasant starts sitting can be turned daily and then incubated when you are ready. They will last for a couple of weeks before you need to start but the less time the better the chances. A broody bantem hen could be the best option and if they are running without a cover over the pen they would probably fly away once they are ready. Otherwise they will make a good breakfast!

Technically you cant touch them

game bird eggs may be taken by people that have the rights to kill game birds on that land or if you have permission from those people so technically you can touch them if you are one of those people
