We use Google earth streetview quite a lot or at least have done in the past, when I go on it now there are grey boxes which move around the screen as I move the cursor.

Any one know whats going on?.

When political tensions and war are on the up they used to reduce the quality, but dont think its the case now. I find it slow and browse off elsewhere and give up with it alot.

Googleearth freezes my pc since last week, some conflict the graphics card cannot handle

Used it on iPhone today, and didn't like it. Had to angle the phone depending on where I wanted to look. Sure it wasn't like that last time I used it

Google earth shuts my computer down. The only thing I used it for over maps was the measuring facility. But now I've found how to donut on maps Ive uninstalled the Google earth.

When google maps first came out I remember there was a buy option upgrade - does anyone on here use it and how much better is it.

I'm wondering whether google are looking to make money from the basic- after all, it is a fantastic facility
