Are pick up tippers worth the extra £££?

Have you looked at the Loadhandler or whatever it's called, a lot cheaper than a tipper conversion, just roll the bed and the logs fall out. And can even look professional while you stand there, win win

I don't think it matters if you deliver logs on a bike so long as they are seasoned and good quality.

Richard wale must be new to this! If you unload by hand the costumer think if your doing that by hand so you may as well put them in a barrow and wheel them round the back to the log store!

Richard we have over 800 log costumers and started by unloading by hand.

Been debating converting mine. Would make life easyer but then again I'm not lazy and would rather have the 2000 in the bank atm. When work picks up abit ill be converting mine. Why struggle when you can stroll.

Like any investment in kit, you have to weigh up time saved v cost. If it only takes 2 minutes to unload by hand then you are unlikely to recoup your outlay in the working life of the tipper conversion.

 

I'm glad the days of shovelling chip are over for me, will probably extend my working life too as shovelling really makes my back ache!
