  1. No burning! Pain in the arse!
  2. After a big chipper to help clear a site in halisham, the material is more scrub and big rhododendron so slow feeding into a 6inch chipper.
  3. Who do you guys insure your chippers with? Ive finally bought a Jenson 530, bit of a change to my old vermeer! I never had the vermeer insured but as I haven't had the best luck with getting my landrover stolen last year I want to insure with a decent company who will pay out if I get any bad luck again! My public and employers is with trust. Anyone insure there kit with them?
  4. Can't fault them all there stuffs in good nick and I find them cheaper then most places!
  5. I'm guessing there's about 25 ton here. Some people have said there's 40 but I can't see it. Most of it is just fire wood lengths but There is a few good butts in there worth milling. Most is in lengths but there is a pile of tree surgery wood. Wood is in Sussex.

  7. Aviva! £990 for a l200 double cab 07 plate and a transit tipper 03plate both fully comp. I'm 20 years old and have no years no claims. I think they pick and choose there prices as my friends pay a lot more on 1 truck with 3 years no claims. Worth a try
  8. Had mine stolen a few months ago from West Sussex. Police where useless but Insureance paid out well. Shame there so hard to replace!

  11. Log sales are going mad and Im running out of wood! I don't do a lot of my own work because I'm always sub contracting. Hence why I'm short. Anyone selling any? Or know the best place to get it from? I'm in West Sussex.
  12. Picked mine up last week, only used it once so far, seems to be alot better than the stihl anyone else got there's yet?
  13. Portsmouth docks have got the details if it turns up there. It hit two police number plate cameras at 10:49 then no more after that, so chances are the plates where changed. It's got a pto winch on it and tool points, brand new kumho tyres and a In built tool box.
  14. It came from Durham so 360 miles away. So pretty sure it's not like that. And it was a proper dealer, it will be sitting in a barn being striped. I've been to every traveller camp and nothing. The anoying thing is that my neighbour saw a 20-25 year old drive it off and didnt think to tell me!

  20. I think ill try buyin one on the book. Last thing I want to do is spend 3k on a rust bucket and spend the money that would of gone on a decent one repairing it. You only get what you pay for and all that! Now the choice on what to go for?!
  21. Starting to get alot more tree work in, forever hiring a chipper in from a mates company, do I bite the bullet get a loan and buy a decent one? Or buy something for 3k ish and not have the worry of a loan to pay. I'm my thoughts the money I pay for hire would pay the loan. Any one know the finance on a 6inch chipper? And for how long?
  22. Old husky 338 stop Working last week. Striped it down new diagram kit and all that. Still wont run. Only on choke. Any ideas? New carb Mabey? Don't want to spent alot on the old girl because its time for a upgrade!!! Stihl or huskys new one? If it ever comes out? Only heard bad things about the new stihl.
  23. Been debating converting mine. Would make life easyer but then again I'm not lazy and would rather have the 2000 in the bank atm. When work picks up abit ill be converting mine. Why struggle when you can stroll.
