Clutch spring/ needle bearings even on the second one that the dealer (on here) said would be OK. It's done it for me with this saw. Nearly just bought a third but I'm going Husky- just to try out the opposition.

Having said that- the 261 once fixed seems fine- just wish they'd fixed it before they sent it out.

I would highly recommend the Husqvarna 346xp. Im a Stihl man myself but my friends a husky dealer and when my old 260 died he gave me this saw to try. Its roughly the same size and weight but power wise it will out run the 260 any day and I honestly never thought id say that but it does. Its very robust and very nice to use, highly recommend.
