phone the insurance company make them a offer for them

...But if they've paid out on a new for old basis why would you want to do that? If that is the case I'd like to know how they set about auctioning off your old saws. Oh, don't tell me they just throw them in a skip...

What happened did the copper fall over them whilst off duty at a car boot. I mean catching scum whilst on duty...haha. Like you say he will probably get off with naf all.might get a few hours un paid work with the local council arb lads so he can spanner up his next victim.

Like someone else said ring the Insurance co and make them a silly offer, they will just want rid of them.

Good news, following a theft is rare indeed. The police clear up rate is appalling. so good news. don't want to Pyss on your chips, but this guy is being taken to court for receiving? Not theft? Receiving stolen goods can happen to anyone, one could argue as I'm sure someone Will, that he is innocent of any wrong doing. We must not lose sight of the fact that he may well be. In this country it's innocent until proven guilty. He might give up the thief or he may not. Glad you got some saws back chap.
