It will take additional time, however I believe keeping your saws and other items inside your house from now on. Additional alarms and such may help,short term. Problem is your house is now marked for another visit. I suspect not from the Police first. Get your dog a nice bone from the butcher.

Congratulations on falling asleep on the sofa, saved you a packet!

As the others have said get that dog a bone.

 

Consider beefing up the garage door, locks, alarm, real or bogus cctv camera, etc.

I got burgled 4 weeks ago, same as you, from the garage. Now waiting on the insurance co!

Sorry to hear that, your dog must be up for Arbor dog of the year.

Try running a steel cable through the handles of all your machines and then lock them all together. Use a lock that has a built in panic/ movement sensor that can almost wake the dead. Locking them together means they have to move them all at once which is not possible.

It would take them time to cut the cable and silence the tremble alarm. What these scumbags want is to be in and out as quick as possible.
