Good choice Steve, and you gotta be ready for the zombie apocalypse, don't you guys watch doomsday preppers, rather than store 10 tons of pasta and egg powder I'm gonna have a truck like this and make a note of where the preppers live, job done......

Ok, so there's some serious gear on this thread. I don't have any of it, my most serious weapon is a BigShot but I need to shoot some foxes while my family is away on holiday.

 

Can a decent air rifle do the job from 10 metres away?

You can shoot foxes with an air rifle and yes you can kill them with a good shot.

You really really shouldn't though because it is just downright cruel. Air rifles are not powerful enough to be sure you will kill it and like as not you will just wound and cause pain. Don't do it.

Yes, but you're starting to talk FAC air guns for foxes, you want a minimum of a full power hunting airgun, and probably with prometious pellets or logun penetrators

Not on a 11ft/lbs . you need at least a full FAC air rifle . I think a .22250 is best .

Shooting foxes with air rifles is only good if you're into cruelty.
