Are the batteries sealed ?

 

Had problem with 3 leisure batteries which had been left discharged for some time.

 

Drained the batteries, added fresh acid which was bought from motorcycle shop and they were good as new.

 

Motorbike batteries are shipped dry.

Mine can also be driven on a moped license.

 

They take around 8 hours to charge from scratch but if you charge as and when you can and try not to discharge them heavily you get much more service out of your batteries.

 

Batteries normally only have around 300 charge cycles if you discharge them heavily, say 75% then recharge. If you only discharge them 30% then recharge you can get as many as 1200 to 1600 charge cycles

Yes the batteries are sealed...the most annoying thing is they are like brand new and haven't done anything with the truck only having 1200 mile on the clock. An absolute waste if I can't recover them

if the batteries are goosed dean, build a chassis and drop a V8 in you'd get noticed then

This electric one claims it can pull 4000kg & do 46% gradient hills

 

40 mph max speed

Our town uses those Axiam trucks for their gardeners.

They fill it in 20min then drive up to 3km to the tip at 20mph.

Lucky lazy sods spend most of their days driving to and fro keeping warm.

Funny to see 2 gurt gardeners squeezed in to the cabin.

Also several locals who have either lost their right to a full licence or never gained one drive the diesel versions.

I'm tempted by one of these to get to local quotes:
