  3. Anybody know anywhere I can buy 562xp parts online that ship to the uk ? I've managed to get most bits I need off eBay but I still need a top cover and can't seem to find anywhere that ships outside the US 😔 Will uk husky dealer be able to get parts even though the saw isn't distributed in the U.K. ?

  8. Brilliant bit of kit !! Climbed a couple of palms in them and seen my boss at the time block down a pine trunk. Good bit of kit for the right job pruning palms etc would be quite good for big pines possibly, anything reasonably straight and aslong as you leave a completely clean pole I'd say they are 100% worth the investment.
  9. I have the ventilation type a's they are glorious ! I keep my vents closed until it's the hottest point of the day to get full satisfaction from opening them. Even the smallest breeze on the back of your legs is heavenly ! Very durable aswell had mine almost 2 years now and they still look almost new after a wash.
  10. Was my first time on a sledge yesterday stacked 800 in a couple of hours, great fun. Ten bucks an hour was my price
  11. Evening gents Where can I get myself such a fancy gadget ?! been looking into similar set ups but yours looks perfect mr git !! Cheers Deeco
  12. Cut the gate out. the ridge at the bottom that the gate sits in stops the saw falling off. Been climbing like this since I got the saw and it's a breath of fresh air ! Easy to grab one handed and to put it back in a hurry.
  13. Really like this ! Will absolutely be giving it a go. Thanks for sharing
  14. That's a cracking landy Chris !! I just bought this one for my first car . Just need to learn how to drive now !! Glad to see the bang tidy back btw !! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Re-reading it is quite funny without a description. This is a tree bicycle ( thinking about it probably not their correct name haha) it's a set of bands that go round the tree and you just jump on and strap in. Loosen and tighten the bands as the trees girth changes. Designed for Palm tree pruning I believe, but a pole is a pole. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. Tree bicycle would be ideal for this kind of thing exact same as spikes on straight climbs without any damage to the tree. Saves expense on mewps etc and keeps you off wobbly ladders.
  17. The title is directed at people that don't make the most of life and all it's possibilities. my little bro makes me want to chase my dreams with a positive attitude. He has and continues to overcome something that a lot of people might not be able to and I'm proud of him for that.
  18. Forgot to mention he is about to become a teenager and with his birthday money he has decided to invest in some kit so any suggestions on what he should be looking at would be a great help.
  19. Evening all. Thought I'd throw up a quick post about an absolute legend that I'm proud to call me friend. This is liam. (Ignore that topless hunk ) Liam is part of the freestyle gymnastics team that I coach and an astounding little guy !! As you can see he onlys has one hand which you would think would affect him in a big way but NO! He's one of my best gymnasts and has the best attitude of anyone I know. A couple of weeks ago I asked him if he fancied a go at tree climbing and of course he was up for it ! I told him I'd set him up a system of some sort that he could climb easier on and his reply was 'no I do not accept that I'll do it like you do'. So I brought my kit home and dug out my old rock climbing harness and helmet and we headed out to find a tree! We decided on a big beach. I threw a rope over a lower limb and set up him and left him swinging around while I put a top anchor in. By the time I was back on the ground he had got his technique. Grabbing a loop from under the knot and standing in it while pushing the knot up!! I then hooked him up on my line and he was off ! Taking a rope with him which he set on an anchor and sent back to me ! No pics at the top because I scrambled up after him without the camera. He even managed a small branch walk just under the main crown. Anyway just thought I'd share a few pics just to show what a proud friend and coach I am and ask what your excuse is for not doing something you want to. More adventures to to follow. Ps any comments on how he could climb easier or more efficient would be welcomed. I was thinking A foot ascender but his feet are size 3 wasn't sure if it would fit ? Cheers Deeco. 20. How far north are you planning to go Paul ?
  21. I love my t540 wouldn't buy anything else now I'm used to it. Only problem I have is having to feather the trigger for 5 minutes when starting from cold before it will get to full revs. And having to start it as if it is cold after leaving it for a few minutes. Anybody else had this problem ? Any ideas how I can remedy it ?
  22. Using the throttle while the break is on you mean ? It's one of the safety checks I was show on my cs30/31. Apologies if I have misunderstood you ?
  23. Bought mine last week used it for the first time yesterday... First time I put the chain brake on a squeezed the trigger the chain still moved only slightly and in a jerking motion but still ?? Anybody had this problem ? Suggestions how to fix it ? Apart from that I love it !
  24. I'm swaying towards the tachyon I think. Spliced or slaiced ? Any benefits of slaiced over spliced ??
  25. Evening arbtalk, I'm currently climbing on 13mm but thinking of purchasing a zig-zag and it would seem a thinner rope is best. So what should I be looking at ? Preferably one that works with the multisaver(the rings are so small!!). Cheers Deeco
