Just incase anyone is unsure - I used mine to dismantle a couple of 50ft elms yesterday (upto 10/12 inches before bigger saw needed) and a big horrible row of conifers today. Bloody great little thing! If you leave the chain to do the work rather than pushing it into the cut, you can cut bar length easily without any bogging down.

Don't take my word for it though, go and buy one.

  • 2 weeks later...

I opened up the exhaust outlet on mine, (the louvered slot), so rather than running parallel with the exhaust body, the outer flap is arched, pick up is faster, & it holds its revs in the cut better, no carb adjustments were needed on my saw,it runs cleaner, revs a little higher too.

Due to doing more dismantles and alot less reductions recently and for the foreseeable, i'm going to sell mine. Bit gutted as i really love the saw but it's a waste being used maybe once a week for a few hours.

Anyone who wants it can pm me, if not arbtrader/ebay this week.
