Probably not as overloaded as you might think though. Had our old LM105 loaded up with 9' lengths and weighed it all and only had 1600kg on there. Not oak though and not stacked up like that xD

Not overloaded but poor weight distribution. Had to move this seized up caravan from the working area. Due to the weight being far over the axel, it was prone to snaking and lifting my my rear axel a good 50mm. 40mph max speed up the A11 from Newmarket to Norwich not fun. Felt sorry for the guy I roped in for an escort as I don’t have beacons.

The axel of the caravan was too wide to pass the the arches of the trailer. Tried putting it on the other way first. This was as good as I could get it.

Is a t5 rated to tow that much?

It’s a T6 3200kg GVW. Combined MAM of 5700kg. 204hp engine too. Every job I do ends up on a weigh-bridge every day. I’m always under the threshold.

We all do it now and again but is anyone brave/daft enough to post any pics???

Understand if you don't want to or blur your names/reg plates.

Here's one of mine....ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359810298.870162.jpg.0356379fc2045693510a4c95d94e9905.jpg

Being overweight is so not cool.....until you get done like I did back in 2003 you won't do it again, taken to court after escorted to a weigh bridge to off load the excess then fined £800 and 6 penalty points! The courts take being overweight extremely seriously as it grossly effects your ability to brake efficiently! Don't do it guys it's not worth it trust me!
