now they look tasty...has anyone had a go on any of them??? i hope they dont disappoint like the 201 did as they are following the same 2014 emissions standard. That is what i think killed the power of the 201!

weve got 3 of the makita top handle saws 2 of the dcs230t and 1 of the 3410 the bigger one is pish but the two smaller ones are pretty good

Thats not the new one, Its a another one!!! Its a Husky version of another make owned by Husky.. Its pretty similar to the Echo... If you look on US forums they will tell you. The new husky is a T540 and it was on the UK Husky website for 699 quid... due in New Zealand later in the year, so they reckon!

Actually looks like quite a nice bit of kit but whether it matches the 200 or 201 is a different matter. I've found that although they are good saws, the build quality on the Huskys leave a little to be desired. Lets hope they've got it right this time.

that world of power web site says they ship in 2 -5 working days!! Gonna have to get onto my boss to get me one!

 

Yeah, they said that about the 560xpg I ordered from them, told me it would be in stock in two weeks, six weeks later, they blamed it on a shipping delay from Husqvana's wearhouses in Sweden, and said it would be another two weeks. I contacted Husqvana directly who told me that they had an annual shutdown and that they would not be starting production of that model for another month.

 

I can live with delays, but i won't do business with people when they bullshit me. I suppose they have a nice enough website though.

I heard of 2 companies called Steal and Huskifarmer, apparently they make good saws
