Firstly thanks. Been reading the forum for a couple of weeks to get some views of whether I should get a 395 or a 660. The definitive answer was ....yes. Ta!!

 

Anyway, I've got the big H braces, and I didn't want to get another set, so the 395 it was. What a beast of a saw....

 

I've just put a new piston and cylinder on my 55, which I always thought was a fairly decent tool, but, my god..... I've just gone through a 2 foot ash in a matter of seconds with no drama. (Bit frightening how big the fuel and oil tank are).

 

Anyway... the wife's not even pretending to be interested; apparently Graham Norton is soooo much more interesting, and the cat doesn't even know what a chainsaw is....

I don't pretend I'll be any use to this forum; I cut enough firewood for my own use, and I've got the 395 to turn aforementioned ash into useable timber, but hi, and thanks.

yeah most ppl say 395 over the 660, will be getting one ourselves when the job warrants it.

welcome AL good bunch on hear will always if can try and help which they do. on hear more than watching telly now. more interesting and learn a lot. just need to get my head round these arial swingers types when they say about there gear not a clue:biggrin:

finchyo you know you want one spend the money come on or cheaper than that when the job needs one hire me for the day and i'll bring mine £80 a day is cheaper than £800 for the saw and you get the man to use it too:001_tt2:
