@peds      Bionnay, just up from Les Hoches.  No idea what the aspect was; it was a grey morning with light drizzle.  We were under conifer canopy on a mossy mound

Heres one for you lot.

First year I’ve seen these in my garden, this one maybe 5’’ or more diameter,  grouping of half a dozen.

Nearest tree is an ailing, poorly planted lime.

Top and bottom as is usually requested

Looks like Paxillus involutus , Brown roll rim, highly toxic/lethal, usually found in nutrient poor soil.

Looks more like a purple plum.

maybe Phellinus Pomaceus?
