Got one at the moment to quote 20-25 mature beech and sycamore all windswept roadside need lifting roadside by 5.2-6mtrs and reducing back roadside 2mtrs.. There's 6 houses all with 3-6 trees out the front he goes "give us a price all individually then a good price all together, if we all accept your be in and out in a day makes it easier doesn't it" hahaha don't know if its even worth quoting there's a day and a half just at his property.

Changing job a bit. I manage a holiday park. It's open for 7 months a year so I am 7 days a week and if river floods I've seen me do 20 hour days. This winter the flooding was the worst ever. From end of January it took 8 weeks to clean up then with 10 days before it was due to open we found one row of 80 foot leylandii had their roots wash out. So they were dropped and cleaned up. When the park opened it looked the the mute nuts like nothing had happened.

First customer arrived, looked around and said " Ain't done much this winter have you "!!

[ QUOTE=Gray git;1180421]Quite an insulting one from a few years back when I worked for someone else, out at a job in the big mog and a neighbour comes over and asked if we do scrap removal as well as he had some old fridges he wanted rid of?

Where were that john?
