Ok cheers again guys! Looks like i'll be getting the geckos with the velcro top bit but leather strap around your boot seems like a good choice to me.

Just need to sort out a flipline now! I'm thinking go with the yale one but its is a tenner more than the new england one anyone know why??

I have only ever had velcro pads never had a issue with them as said above i store them closed while not in use. I would get the ones with velcro top and leather bottom strap as the velcro bottom strap is useless i wish i could change my bottom strap to leather!

 

Same here! Definatly better with bottom leather strap on!

For a wire flipline id just find the length you want and buy the cheapest there all the same really just different colours and patterns ive got 2 new england fliplines they are a few years old and perfectly fine.
