Had a walk round one of our work sites and found this, where 2 self employed cutters were working last week so this has been like this for at least 6 days! The Ash is about 10/12 inch also no Ash are to be felled on this job! :confused1:

No ash have been felled, it's still standing

Put the gob back in and some magic mud rubbed on and jobs a good un

Leaving that, and the hung ups should be the end of them. Amateurs. Saying that, I went back to a site the other month where we'd finished last year, and found several hung ups and specimen (two parcels were arboreta) trees felled. Guessing some local scallywags had popped in for some free wood. So is this possible in your case? Easy to jump to the obvious conclusions. Oh and we were the only ones with keys to the gates, but they'd cut a hole in the hedge to gain access.
