ha ha ha Percy the plaster cast ! lol thats the guy form the unit over the yard from us there are a few more ! He was on some impressive drugs broke his elbow and dislocated it on a motorcross bike ! and another guy rode into him he had tred shaped bruises up his back !

here`s my splitter i built about 6 yrs ago from scrap we had lying about the w/shop,only thing i had to buy was pto pump/g/box ,hoses and a few fittings

+1 Totally agree with the last comments, Safety always has to come first....Whats £60 for a shaft.....its nothing when your life is in the balance...Enjoy what you do and be safe....

 

just reading old threads no need to buy new shaft cut equal amounts off each tube to correct length 10 min job
