Thought it was about time i put a vid up of the one in my avatar working :)

 

 

 

Thats an ugly lump on the splitter, but Percy is better :thumbup:

ha ha ha Percy the plaster cast ! lol thats the guy form the unit over the yard from us there are a few more ! He was on some impressive drugs broke his elbow and dislocated it on a motorcross bike ! and another guy rode into him he had tred shaped bruises up his back !

+1 Totally agree with the last comments, Safety always has to come first....Whats £60 for a shaft.....its nothing when your life is in the balance...Enjoy what you do and be safe....:thumbup:

 

just reading old threads no need to buy new shaft cut equal amounts off each tube to correct length 10 min job :001_smile:

Here is my log splitting set up the axe was my great grandfathers (had a few new handles) and the bill hook/slasher thing I picked up at a boot sale for 50p
