Yes Mr Bond I love it  The work scares the crap out of me on a daily basis lol especially the huge open gums but I guess I'll get used to it! Already discussing long term options with the company, they're happy with me so far and have said if I keep it up then they will sponsor me, which gives me a very good chance of getting residency :001_smile:

Have a go at making it rich :thumbup1: Plenty instructional vids on youtube, start off with something simple. Presentation is the art, I've had a few turn out like a geordie kebab but they still taste awesome ... even when your not drunk

Bump!!

I got a little kit and a book from the wife for Christmas so have knocking some up while in lockdown. Quite getting into it.

Been using Smoked Salmon in the fridge from Christmas and using anything and everything really. Decent for a lunch and you can spend about an hour making enough for 3 days lunch. Can't be bad. A few of them have come out looking like twiglets but other than that, we're flying!!

Love Sushi and Sashimi, kids love it as well. Had a nice long weekend with the missus in Tokyo where we gorged on the stuff. :D Visited the famous Fish Market at 02:00 in the morning to get in line for a ticket to see the actual live market (gone now) and there was a string of Sushi places for the local worked that where very good. Had A5 grade Wagyu steak out one evening, that left a dent in the bank account. 😮

Norway is big on Sushi and Sashimi as well and seem to have cornered the market for promoting Salmon as a Sashimi fish for the asian market. Sashimi grade Salmon Belly and Loin is available from almost all Supermarkets. We're missing a trick here in Scotland.

I never tried sushi. Wanted to but not going to buy the rubbish stuff from tesco. There is a place in a shopping centre close to me that has a sushi bar. Think I will have to try that next time I'm there.

Find a proper Japanese place, run by Japanese.
Everything else is just a bad copy.
