mine is only 4 weeks old and is ok but just starting today i have not been able to start if after refuelling it, so trying to start it warm and it has sounded a bit rough for a couple days. i just blamed my lad for flooding it but i took the plug out and it was dry. it did the same to me later in the day. i will try to pop it black to my dealer for them to check.

Mind did a piston with less than 10hrs use!

My husky dealer was a waste of time! Husky did the work under warranty eventually and upgraded the airfilter to a heavy duty model due to fine dust being found in the intake.

Doesn't feel as strong as it first did out the box, and had a mad 10 mins yesterday when it wouldnt idle.

Sounds like you have not set the auto tune . In the the book it says start the saw , bring it to full revs and cut the full length of the bar As heavy as it will allow for thee to five mins . Something along those lines . Had the same problem with my 560 untill I realised you need to do this . Not all dealers are aware of this requirement . The hot start is as follows . No choke . ( I say this as some people forget that the ignition is always on and lift the red lever and flood it ) One pump of primer bulb , decomp in and pull . Always use the decomp or you will bust the starter pull . Remember ignition resets to the on position when you turn off .

What a load of bother! Forget it, get a cs450 echo and get the porting work done, no electrickery, plenty of poke. Or a Dolmar ps5105 from TCF.

Sounds like what happened to mine. Won't start and a dry plug after twenty minutes of trying.

If it helps, apparently, there is a software update that is supposed to fix this. If Husqvarna are to be believed, it will be available for the dealers to install today.

It they are telling the truth, maybe I'll get my saw back next week, although I'm not holding my breath. Three weeks to fix a saw with nothing physically wrong with it is ridiculous.[/moan]
