Nice size tree. And didn't look too decayed, although the yellow rope one cant quite see. Do you ever turn up and the contractor has booked you to climb a big tree that looks healthy leaf wise, but when you start cutting have decided too much decay to be roped in to it?

In 18 years of contract climbing I have never turned up to a job and refused to climb the tree or trees I have turned up and changed the plan of works possibly felling or the tree cant be rigged cos of it been dead for so long or possibly said we need some sort of hydrolic assistance crane such like ! I have always since I first wanted to climb never wanted to be the man that says no I wanted to be a problem solver not a problem creator that's my view on why I'm there to solve getting that tree or trees down as efficiently and safely as possible I have a couple of times had to think of the sherbrook dead tree video above the sky walk as a bit motivation if Graham can do that I can certainly get my arse up some poxy 80ft dead tree in England ?

Been a big change in the way I work, timber moved out in large as possible pieces and then lifted with trailer and crane, chipper can be moved in to gardens easy and brash moved to chipper.
