To be honest I've just been really fortunate as a business. Don't get me wrong I still do the odd small tree here and their but now it's mostly commercial.

 

Having the skid steer allows me to be very quick compared to my competition.

Stump grinding yesterday and the lads found a nail for me just before I arrived to do the stump and thismorning a nice failed hanging tree to get down, left a nice hanger when I felled it over but luckily had the picker so was fairly easy to get out.

Turned up to deadwood a couple of beech trees today and noticed a vertical crack from some included bark on a mature Beech tree.

 

Made a few call and decided to test the crack with a John Deere.

 

The tractor won.

We then felled the remainder into the field behind with a little help from Mr J Deere.
