No, just an inspection and to cut out sone big hangers up there.

I had to spur up part way to get hold of the end of the line so I could SRT....long winded story that I won't go into. But, what we call 'long gaffs'....pretty useless in 7 inch thick bark. At least, the spurs don't hurt the tree, but it's hard to get any purchase as a result.

Today call out, 3 failed leyands right next to a disabled riding school.

Been working at a national trust property this week, the big oak from this morning with the 3 of us up was over 100ft, good few days

Pretty tall Oak there John! I've been slumming it today, felled a small laurel hedge, couple small cherry trees and a couple cypress. Just beat the thunder storm

Absolute hideous day. Took down a biggish sycamore, didn't stop raining all day. Was alright for the boss grinding with his remote unit
