No criticism from me mate. Good job considering how hard it was cut. I'd imagine an adamant client?

There will be plenty along to stick the knife in though!

Yep, they wanted it battered!

First job was one where the contractor had said they couldn't do it. We turned up and pulled the back section off as they'd already done the back cut and it had sat back.

I did laugh and say to the client; well, I told you we wouldn't be the cheapest.

Then back to more felling for pilings to go in. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1442954845.971401.jpg.3d6dc5b8e32faa853ba49bb0474889d3.jpg

Looks good jack.

Today I accidentally went for a swim at 08:30. I was moving along the stem attaching winch ropes from a canoe and lent just a bit too far. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1443023923.978665.jpg.10e5d96cceacbfdb0ec6b4f37a3c0e42.jpg

But after 4 hours of messing around we managed to get the fallen ash out.

Seriously they had walked away from a tree after making the felling cut? How long had it been left for ?

I have turned up to a 20" diameter sycamore resting up against another tree swaying in the breeze with a STEP CUT in it! It was in the corner of public cemetery and another "contractor" had done it, realised it was all wrong and scarpered asap. The mind boggles.
