Dismantled a knackered beach today. A lot of Ivy and quite few limb on the back and over the field. Popped up on the bdb and creamed off the rear limbs so gravity could assist us as I did t know the integrity of the hinge. In hindsight it was the right thing to do. The tree pretty much shattered when it landed and the Ivy was covering a lot

of mess. Glad I took the back bits off.

I love fells like that, until they're down, then it's an eternity of cleaning up ivy!

One of my climbers usually descends that way on removals. Sometimes we use it to run the pull/winch line through it if the grounds soft.
