Was that near golden valley by chance.? I could hear that from my yard today! Sounded like the blades were blunt:confused1:

why sometimes burn and other times chip? Looks like its chipping all over the grass!!

Yes it was in the south park just up from golden valley.

The blades arent too bad but could do with a sharpen though!

We were chipping because of the distance between the 6 boxes we thinned would have meant a lot of trunderling back and forth as well as there are soon to be cows in so less tidying of a burn site.

The idea was for the chip to go into the boxes most of it made it!

Here's a couple from today.

That a lot bigger that it first looked. Nice job.

Cheers, about 70ft tops, apparently planted in the 1920's according to the records the home owner had. Got a bit of video just waiting for it upload

Some thinning work from this last week.

Good chance to practice some felling practices that I haven't used since my tickets! Dressing the buttresses, Danish pie cuts etc.

The ported 357 was a winner on this job.

Looks like a fun job.

They don't look anywhere near 100' in the photos, but then photos can be deceptive :)
