They actually like that as it's a bit of barbed wire that has been milled through (trashed my chain) but you can see it imbedded in the wood as a shiny bit.

Fair enough, on reflection I think that recessing the top bolt so it sat flush on the top shelf would look better. (Like they said on the other thread)

Like I said was ment to be but changed speck and the cap nuts I'd got looked even stranger than 2 nuts locked together to cover the thred tops.

Only got to stay till end of January when this particular exabiton ends then will be changed back again to 3 shelves with top being at the top with cap nuts.

I'll post the old pics but yesterday we delivered this donation and I got a card today.

 

It's probably going to be one of my favourite arb memories and if you ever get the chance to do something like this I'd say go for it.

Cheers buddy, it made sense as I'd done well this year through trading timber for carvings so I though who would get the greatest enjoyment from it. Not me but children.

A few from yesterday's Western Red Cedar dismantle at Sidbury Manor. A lot of firsts for me. First large dismantle, first dismantle SRT, first time vertical speed lining. Really enjoyed myself and I'm still pumped now if I'm honest.

Turned into a easier job than i expected thanks to Billy Wind blowing in the right direction away from road so set fire to the lot ,had a tracked chipper on Hire just in case .

New Hedge planted 3 years ago to replace the old hedge on the new land he has bought .

 

Twisted the customers arm in leaving the Standing Dead Wood when i explained the amount of life that exists in there plus a bit of a focal point ..

 

The RSL ripper tooth excelled in this job too.

A small fir reduction from yesterday. Approx 5ft off the top and 12 - 18 inches off of the laterals to rebalance.

 

 

Your chipbox and tool box are identical to mine on a daily. I bought mine from Keven Watt down your way. Must have been built at the same place 👍
