The tin roof was bad but summer house roof was intact so not that easy. If I  would of butt dropped it would of not had to winch it as it would of flatted it all.

Garden structures are surprisingly strong. Years ago I was present when a pretty stout walnut was felled onto a pergola, expecting it to crush straight though. No, sir. A fkkk off heavy tree ended up sat on top of it. It didn't notice.

P.S. I know that's not a walnut. There was one close by. It was years ago. I've basically got Alzheimer's.

Don’t really see the point of this procedure? Just creating a problem. If the trees going that direction why not just remove pergola first. Far less effort and safer?

I don’t think the gazebo cut in run in the chinos was part of the initial plan!  😂

I’ve got poor eye site - I thought they were flares? Pleased to hear there was an initial plan🤔
