What sort of tree is that @Stephen Blair?

Aye a poplar, when I quoted as I walked in the drive my head said Sycamore, then as I got closer I thought, is it a huge hawthorn, then as I saw the buds I realised what it was.  Never seen 1 like it before.  90% rot at the base.

How much are we talking about to remove that tree Steven? Between 1 and 2 grand I would assume.

It’s not central belt prices up here I’m afraid ?

got the root out last night, going back this morning to clear the rest of the arising and then tidy up with the machine.

Find out what your question is and then listen to the people who have done it is generally my rule.

I personally find that the most loud, opinionated, abrasive and worthy of ignoring on Arborists forums have never climbed a tree or used a saw. Don't let them put you off

Lol ? awwwwwww Thankyou Tommy ? these are the people that need to be pinned down and hugged extra hard until you can make them HAVE to like you lol ? you cannot stay mad at a smiling wee face. But if that does not work then a good fight normally gets their respect ??????????????????????

And Sam, if he asks you to send him photos of you in your wellies, refuse! It will end in tears. The man is an aficionado of footwear.

Good morning my lovely friend ?

I do not own a pair of wellingtons lol ? I spend five days a week in a pair of brasher boots which have to be THE most comfortable boots in existence ?? My whole uniform consists of Black lightweights and black tops and coats !!!! Not an attractive sight I’m afraid ? So Stubby is a shoe snob then ?
