tall skinny mac that had slightly pulled its rootplate, offset face, tapered hinge and a bit of low down pull with tommers landy winch and it just about missed the septic tank.

No pics but today we started the mistletoe harvest. Between now and Christmas we will harvest nearly 10 tipper loads of the bloody stuff.

macs of all shapes and sizes on that site, some 70foot tall, 18" dbh and not a branch til 50foot up (like that one), some shorter but 6foot dbh and evenly branched, some multi-stemmed bush-trees. On the edge of sand-dunes and quite exposed to the whims of the atlantic, deadwood-tastic!

Finished off chestnut today in grave yard , craned off in 2/3 ton pieces then the butt which weighed 7 1/2 ton )

I was waiting to see another 2 days of rigging, 1 day of poker chip disks and 2 tonnes of sawdust.
