Straight forward Oak dismantle with a bit if rigging to swing the branches in and avoid the vintage car on the other side of the hedge.

Felled it at waist height due to metal and a cavity full of broken roof tiles.

Centre was hollow and full of acorns, no doubt squirrelled away for winter, and the first time that I have come across Ganoderma Lucidum, a really rather rare fungi.

Went and chipped my brash piles, the first stack was when I was expecting to be chipping with an 8’’ chipper , 2nd pile was after I’d bought the Jensen over the phone so all left bigger and easier to feed.
