In stark contrast to don monstering massive tonnages of trees to death eight days a week, I've recently been very much enjoying little gardening oddments. First time stump grinding in about fifteen years today. Lovely little machine with new teeth and had the staff chasing roots out.

Sailor slips into the minimum wage bracket.

For U16’s.

Invoice - staff, £240.

He's not that useful. Also frankly a liability when you're swinging hand tools.

Haven't had a wages thread for a few weeks have we.

5 points for ingenuity, 0 points for tree felling.

I can't see how it didn't fall of it's own accord anyway, it looks like he's nibbled all the way around it already.

This was this mornings first job only a couple of hours.

Another fiddly, challenging yet fun jobs.

Here is before

Truth is I thoroughly enjoy the challenge.

Squat but chunky Corsican fell today.

Just me and the Worky Quad.

Twin stemmed, about 20” dia at felling points, stump left high to wrestle out with a 13 tonner.

The building is being demolished and replaced.

A fair bit of logistical juggling with two machines, 2 loads of chip and 2 heavy, but home by 4 in time to walk the dogs.
