2 manky pop stems today, both great adverts as to why topping pops is a bad idea.

One 3’ dia stem had already shat itself.

The second Macca got a line in and it was moving as soon as he put his weight on it.

Plan B was just choke a big rope and pull it against the lean without firing up a saw.

Went well, massive rot throughout.

Check out those Gano brackets!

Not the clients fault, they just bought this problem.

6 loads, Worky Quad earned it’s keep!

i reckon you’re one of those classic cases of putting of a loader for so long, but once you’ve got one wouldn’t work without it!

Why do I have images of him climbing trees Fred dibnah style using just the one ladder and a rope.

I had quoted it with a cherry picker in mind.

Not Lombardies, hybrids with some biggish awkward limbs.

It became painfully clear in 1/2 hour that it wasn’t going to work, picker too small (17 meter) so on go the spikes and harness and up I went.

Didn’t quite catch a cold on the job, but certainly didn’t do as well as I should have.
