Leaving a bit of a legacy there.

Whereabouts? I've got some great memories from the Peaks, mainly round Castleton and Mam Tor.

It's been great! Had a great team on the job which always helps. Had some terrible weather but a few nice days too.

 

Its the path up to Brown Knoll from Chapel Gate.

 

Its not finished yet, we've stopped because of bird breeding season so you'll still get muddy boots in places.

Absolute hideous day. Took down a biggish sycamore, didn't stop raining all day. Was alright for the boss grinding with his remote unit

Aye it came on strong down here this afternoon.

It was properly drumming on the glass in the office.

I could hardly hear the coffee machine at one point. The girls bringing it over to my desk even commented on it.

Just a footpath. Not even a right of way but on open access land and a well worn route.

 

Seen a few bikes on there but by the time they got to us they looked like they regretted it!

Careful. You're one step away from being one of those people that tells us how lucky we are in the summer, but can't be arsed to put the kettle on in the pissing rain in the winter.
