My zermatts are awesome. Super comfy. Toes cool down if stood around. Get walking and they are warm again in a minute. Never had that with boots before! The super bright red has dulled slightly. Loads of grip and comfy all day.

I have had the haix Tibet forest boots for just over a year and they are great never had wet feet even when clearing scrub across a stream so standing in ankle deep water most of the day, they are comfortable out of the box, the higher top gives much better ankle support and shin protection than standard length boots and they seem to have the best tread depth of any boot I've seen so you don't slip about so much when it's muddy

Do you know how much they are brand new ??

I've got brand new size9's still in box if anyone interested (sorry mods) :sneaky2:

They are not my only foot wear, and they are used in conjuction with wellies and steelies.

Sent from my Galaxy arse using tupping talk.

Check ALL the simple things first.

My Oregon fiordland boots have just been delivered today  first impressions are extremely comfy straight away, like walking boots, soft and supple, look real nice in the flesh too.

i normally get 10 months out of a pair of haix, so i'll be happy if these last the same-simillar cost.

they're supposed to be waterproof too, not water resistant like alot of boots are which swayed my decision

any long term test results on these Oregon Fiordland boots? Ta

Bump; they tick a lot of boxes i.e. class 2 not just 1. Any reviews?

Worst yet probably!

First few weeks were great, super comfy, waterproof, awesome first impressions for the price, nice!

3rd day one of the lace hooks popped off, 2 now have popped out, very weak outer rubber toe cap, peeling off, leather of the boots is not durable, a dead sharp peg sliced the leather open, other boot, where the inner edge of he boot touches the tree when spiking has worn the stitching out and is starting to open up, the grip is too hard to unless its mud, the boots don't grip anywhere near as much as I'd reasonably expect. Boots squeak when wet or damp, waterproof ness lasted two weeks tops. Starting to rub my little toe

Nearly 5 MONTHS old

Conclusion? Will stop being a tight wad and buy a set of meindls
