im loving seeing all the small, climber based companies that are popping up, using there knowledge to push the industry forward. similar to your rigging thread bro :)

My RC2000 in action, with extra strap above keeping it in a nice tight position where it's easy to work, similar to marks. However I stupidly bought the stein strap for this thinking it might be special but it's just a very expensive cam type luggage strap :-(

 

The device itself is great to use, my Groundy uses it very effectively for all sorts of rigging and with plenty of wraps even this substantial chunk of Cedar was easy to manage, so much so that I took a picture with my free hand!

u have my number mate if u want a play give me a buzz iv got the rc2000

i run the rc2000 when ed rigged a big chestnut out (big bits :lol:)

the rc2000 is a great bit of kit that u can rig most trees out with

if i wanted anything bigger i would be looking at the rc3002

the new 2001 looks good

Thanks for that might take you up later In the year to busy at the moment. Haven't got the mill yet but know what to get thanks to your advice

I have the rc3002, best bit of rigging kit I own worth every penny for ease of use for not that experienced groundsman. I agree it is a big lump but if the tree ain't big enough to mount it on I do have a small porta rap but its a pain and often dont need to lower a tree of that size.

I did looks at the 2001 at the apf and like outhers have said would do for most jobs you would work in uk conditions.
