The Arbtalk Apps...how are you getting on

How are you getting on with the Arborist apps developed by Arbtalk. They've been out quite a while now, so what do you think? I've noticed a fairly positive feedback so far, from most people.

If you haven't seen them, and you're going to the APF, I can demo them on the iPad for you to "try before you buy"

Have you left feedback for them at your App store? If not it is useful to guide others and help them decide whether to buy one or both.

Do you have a preference, which do you use most if you have both?

If you have had any problems, have you reported through the correct channels so the problems can be rectified?

Do you find them user friendly, can you navigate them easily?

Feedback is so important to the team as it helps to eliminate any glitches, improve on things and move them forward, and most importantly we want you to be happy with your purchase(s). Moaning to your mates in the truck doesn't count as feedback, we need to hear it too.

The knot app is ok.

I've got a few knot apps and the ones I do have have animated guides so it's easy to follow. (probably just me being thick) but I find animation easy to follow than a set of pics. But I've used the knot app a far bit.

It's a good app but is there any updates coming for more knots to add to it?

I like the fungi app, only thing that catches my eye is when i go to use to it checks for updates. This can be annoying when i just want to id the fungi.

I agree. Just seams to take ages to load up, but I always thought it was my bad reception :laugh1:

I bought both, money well spent(less than a pint each).:beerchug:

No complaints, they've both been well done/presented. Fungi one can take a few secs to load so can frustrate at those times you've got your rushing head on - or dazzling a customer with your new found fungi knowledge (lol!):thumbup1:

One thing I would say is everyone I've shown em to, both in & out of the industry(apart from arbtalkers) haven't known they are out there, but have liked what they've seen. So you'd definitely benefit from any sort of advertising.:thumbup1:
