Do you climb in the rain?

I have climbed in the rain dont enjoy it but will do it depending on the job at hand pruning big euc with even less traction no thanks! dont see the point in doing a bad job when it can be postponed for another day ground work or felling when possible if not a bit of maintenance. I dont like being asked to work in the rain when employers dont provide waterproof clothing...

I've never stayed at home cos of rain but I have change jobs around.

I don't climb, but when we're on arb jobs if it starts to rain a bit then we'll usually keep going unless it starts to properly lash it down in which case we'll usualy sit it out a bit and see what happens.

 

Same out in the woods. Though sometimes it's the ground conditions rather than the actual weather that stops that.

 

If it looks like it's going to be a proper wet day from the start we generally don't bother/do something else.

 

Getting fed up of the rain though, it's been rough most of this week but at least have got excuse today as waiting in for a delivery that was meant to arrive on Tuesday.

With the weather at the moment, i would not have any work to do if i waited for the dry days. Needs must, and a landrover like a road legal swamp.

I climb in the rain.....however when that flash of lightning and crack of thunder went off yesterday I abseiled out of the holm oak i was pruning quicker than usain bolt in a running race!!

Whether the weather is dry or whether the weather is not we'll weather the weather whatever the weather, whether we like it or not.

Put on a coat and crack on.
