I go to look at a landrover tomorrow with a tipping body 2008 quite low mileage, what are the things I should be looking for as I'm really keen on the motor?

Been there done that, swapped the engine out for a Perkins, trouble was it is designed to be loaded and would pick a wheel up like some demented terrier peeing on a lamp post

Looks tidier than mine, similarly festering in the garden, fired it up at the weekend and came home to find the tank dripping petrol.

 

Mind they can only tow 1500kg and you lose both legs in a shunt.

Bought it 2008 110 with a custom tipper body ex Anglian water 113000 on the clock (misread the add) very clean drove smooth everything worked I pick it up next week il put some pictures up
