Mine failed the mot other day, anyone got a disco 1 drivers side headlight they don't want???

Also a complete floor front to back mine has a little bit of rust aparantly.

Ouch. You can buy the kit to do the floors but in all honesty unless you are good at welding its a crap job.

Discos going through on ebay less than the welding would cost professionally. I know of a good 3dr on landyzone going for £950

Yeah I'm going to weld it up. But it wasn't a failure on that just the headlight, a panhard bush and track rod rubber gone.

The body work welding wasn't a failure but needs doing. So WHEN the sun comes out I'm going to get either a few of the kits or sheet steel and strip the inside out and start welding it all up. I want to keep this one. It's a goodun.

The welding doesn't bother me at all. Just doing it upside hurts. So its interior out and do it from the inside.

I will only go to a main dealer as I need a loan vehicle and good service. I looked at going to a landrover specialist in the past and they were a joke.

is that lakeland land rover hodge? they seem to have a good rep with all the mrt's

Yes it is, they are very good. They know I rely on my landy for work so try to get it sorted ASAP. I once took it to a landy specialist and the quoted 400 quid less for the clutch job but said it would take a week. I asked how come a week? And the guy said that he has to answer the phone as well as fix Landys. It was I'm and out of my main dealer in a day, no messing.

Well my day just gets worse....

Driving in this morning and it suddenly pulled to the Right. Had to stop. Started going again and it was slightly pulling to the right still. So at yard took wheel off. Bearing has gone. So looking for a new one and cheapest closest shop is 49 quid....... Ebay is cheaper but delivery middle of next week...

So started stripping the hub off and now I have a leak in the metal brake pipe.. Argh. Think I'm going to lose it soon.
