Altered the rear door and pillars of my disco. Just waiting for a wiring kit to arrive and I can hear my music! Doesn't interfere with the dickie seats either which was my main aim. Felted the whole door card to match it all together. One big piece, bit of swearing and some carpet glue!

All in good time. This was done while I was sorting numerous other things out and waiting for parts. Gonna drop it in to sort rust at a place nearby. Got till march for the MOT.

Thts the point, you dont have time, I have seen disco back ends go from what you have to crusty as duck in a matter of months, all the tarting up and tunz will be for nowt when it falls on its face at the next test.

Do the important stuff first........

Decats work very well, proper remaps work very well EGR off saves another headache later center box either out or replacment with free flow box will improve gas flow somewhat larger intercooler will help and recommened with heavy tunes, Filter s will help to an extent, and uprated turbos and manifolds do the job ! just a word of advise some Td5 manifolds will warp when the lump has been tuned there are various andswers to this !

have fun :)

Interesting. What made me look at tune up/upgrade was just how sluggish it appeared when towing tracked chipper and full load, feared any hills. Had decat and egr removed , remarkable difference.Just need to remember what im towing as its hard to forget when cruising along.Still looking at intercooler etc though as I reckon a workhorse needs to perform at its best.:thumbup1:
