Thats a strange comment, where did you hear that from?

Reason i ask is, lrseries are Britpart agents. If you buy from them you either get Britpart or genuine LR.

the leafsprung landrover forum

and yes i would think they meant the genuine ones as there was a comparison picture

unless britparts variations have got worse

And there-in lies your problem. I wasunfortunate enough to go on a landy forum once, and have never read so much ill-informed, opinionated supposition about this sort of thing before or since. Dont believe the hype about Britpart parts being poor quality, is just not true....a rumour spread by those with a purist heart usually. I have been using them for years without problem. I replaced the swivels on my defender about 6 years ago and they havent started leaking yet.:001_smile:

I see you have wolf or HD rims. What tyres are you running on them?

Cheers....Al

I'm not sure what the rims are tbh, I did a deal with a local tyre dealer when I bought it, he took the OE rims and tyres in part exchange for these. The tyres are pirelli scorpion mud's, they have worn extremely well, 40k miles so far and still a bit to go. I am planning on getting another set of rims to rum all terains in the summer to save fuel.:001_smile:
