Mrs Fox finds the climate here really cold and prefers me to just drive and she loves to just stare out the window and because I stop all the time to take pictures she is happy to take in the view....I had my head shaved yesterday (long story) so I had to find some decent headgear.

It was my first chance to really test my Navara...it has a very powerful engine.

I was in that neck of the woods earlier this year in my Transit adventure wagon. Front wheel drive, least powerful engine, highest gearing.... Two boats on the roof and all the gear for an outdoorsy trip for me and my cousins sitting nicely over the back axle... Hartside was fine. Hardknott less so. The penalty of owning a vehicle where some of the wheels don't work. I hate FWD. I'll be going back to 4WD (or at least RWD) next car.

Nice comfy 4WD Jap truck looks just the job.

I've spent many a happy holiday at howtown, just along from pooley bridge on ullswater. Magical place!

Glad your having fun with mrs fox mate!

i used to live in Sockbridge/Tirril about 3 miles up the road from Pooley Bridge. Have you been to Eira Force at the other end of Ullswater Yaffle? Well worth a look if you are that way, a beautiful waterfall and probably the biggest Sitka spruce in the country.
