Whilst on the subject of Autumn colour I have to share this picture that Facebook reminded me of from this week but back in 2012 around the time I began this thread It shows Hammadryad and me in the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew just as we happened upon this Wonderful sight.The contrast of the yellow amongst the green. My favourite Autumn colour picture.

The tree has reached it's peak and looks incredible with the blue sky.Definately a good day to explore the woodland nearby and search for Autumnal colour.

Although there is a storm on the horizon there is still enough blue to set of the red yellows and oranges...

The limes around the Cathedral are all dropping their leaves like spilt paint....but the trees around the riverbanks are colouring up nicely.

I still enjoy the sound and feel of scrunching through dry leaves????
