Scarpa boots my favourite, when I started walking the hills 30 years ago, I spent about 2 hours in a local independent outdoor shop, trying on all the different boots, it was Scarpa Mantas I settled on and have bought them ever since. When I put them on it is just like putting on a heavy pair of slippers, never had a bit of foot probs on the hills with them.

Meindl Airstreams= Treework Slippers.....Scarpa R-Evolution GTX= Outdoor slippers! Just need to get some good breathable socks to go with them and i'm good to go...

 

 

Smartwool socks are good , not the quality they once were but still good.And of cause Bridgedale.
